About the site

Welcome to the our blog! We were married last year in 2008 and are hoping to do a better job in the coming years documenting our adventures and lessening the guilt we feel regarding our poor efforts to keep siblings and friends up to date.

We will definitely be including major life updates on the blog, which the first post provides. We're not sure exactly what other topics we'll end up writing on, but there will likely be posts on what we like--science, ethics, web development, cooking, knitting, medicine, and literature.

Instead of checking back every once and awhile, we highly recommend you subscribe to the blog (or if you're only interested in say, Lara's culinary skills, you can subscribe to a topic-specific RSS feed on the right when it becomes available). We don't promise a regular schedule in updating the blog, so email updates or a feed reader is the best way to go.
