Today's Lunch Break:
http://www.qwantz.com/archive/001426.html

I've had several jobs that required getting CPR training. You sit there in a classroom (usually a freezing one) and spend your day learning how to do chest compressions and how that cracking sound is supposed to happen.

Even though I've been certified at least three times, I couldn't tell you how to do it properly, much less actually perform CPR.

I'm pretty sure I'm repressing that knowledge so I'll never actually think, yeah, I'm all over this, and go volunteering myself to try to bring a dead person back to life. Because that would be utterly terrifying and traumatizing for me.

So I repress. But as of today, Dinosaur Comics has provided a mnemonic that moves me one step closer to not being able to forget. If I one day save someone's life, it's all T-Rex's fault.

the task of producing a cpr-themed cover version is left to you, gentle readers, talented readers, readers who have discovered that if you hover your mouse over comics on the internet, sometimes they tell you to do stuff

Oh man. I laughed pretty hard at this one, and totally got busted by my coworker. FTW, Ryan North. FTW.

On the other hand, if you're a more upbeat person, you can also use the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive" as that's around 103 beats per minute.

If comments keep making me giggle, my co-workers are going to catch on that I'm not hard at work.

Truly awesome! Remember kids, the more cracking the better.
